I started this wine in the Skeeter Pee tradition, I wanted to preserve the light lemony flavor,
so I split the lees from the Pine~Sol, into two batches, split between the cantaloupe wine and the lemon summer wine.
lemon summer wine- 5/24/10
- lees from Pine~Sol
- 1 cup tea
- 8 lemons squeezed
- 5# sugar
- 1 banana
- 1tsp. pectic enzymes
- 1 tsp yeast food
- 1 tsp yeast nutrient
- water to 2.25 gal. mark
SG- 1.090
After bottling in indv. bottles, I decide that it was to acidic-
I opened the remaining bottles and blended it with chardonnay -
bottled on 11/20/10
