Colombard, Carnigana and Grenache

These grapes came from work, Free!

I was sitting out front, on break, and took a pic, thinking how neat- WF’s has wine grapes…

never thought that they would end up in my hands- err feet (laughs)

I did a little research and found out they are similar, and so I decided to ferment them all together.

first I had to take them out of their baggies,

I set up my sanitizing station

washed the crushers

taking the first step

in with both feet

the crush is on!


I let the grapes settle

10/10/10 pressed and racked- Sg 1.000

racking to secondary

the stats are:

22 brix- SG: 1.090 , 12.7 ABV.


  • yeast food
  • yeast nutrient
  • yeast slurry from Wassail
adjusted Ta and racked, mixed with a Pomegranate wine.
