Tempranillo/Petite Sirah- 2010

Harvested on  9/21/2010

I took 80# Tempranillo grapes and 40# Petite Sirah and crushed them together.

first time using a crusher/destemmer.

easier yes-

Approximately 12 gallons –

the harvest moon!

first brix reading 24*  (SG: 1.10)

added a gallon of water, yeast food, yeast nutrient and  “house”  yeast slurry.

Sg: 1.80   Brix: 21*
